but of course it wasn't about NATO because : 1 .Ukraine were barred form joining both by the NATO comnstitution after 2014 and trhe fighting on russian soil but also by several countiries vetoing 2.russia stole their land ....that's what it was always about
russian aggression and land stealing in 2014 was before the talk of joining NATO
