What happened to the "it was Boris" narrative that has been pushed for the last couple of years? It's now the "it was Nuland" narrative now? Just like that?

Ukraine was neutral in 2014 and 2022. It never stopped Putin from invading.

Ukraine had security assurances from Russia and the West. It never stopped Putin from invading.

That is besides the point that you are either lying or unaware that no security assurances were agreed to by the West and Russia refused to give any as well in the surrender demands, sorry "peace negotiations" in 2022.

Ukraine was peaceful until Putin attacked Ukraine in 2014 and again full scale in 2022.

Ukraine was never a military threat to Russia. Ukraine was never going to attack Russia, stop the lying and implying there was a threat, you are just pushing obvious fictional dishonest Kremlin propaganda. The only "threat" Putin feared from Ukraine was Ukraine being a successful, thriving, rich, free and democratic example to Russian's who would soon be asking "why isn't Russia like that?".

No agreement was reached, discussions did not make an agreement, and Ukraine never agreed and were not going to agree to recognise the annexation of Crimea or the loss of eastern Ukraine. Adding to that Ukraine humiliated Russian forces around Kyiv and uncovered depraved Russian war crimes. Talks ended as a result.

"Ukrainian lead negotiator (at this point) Davyd Arakhamia stated in an interview on 24 November 2023 that in March 2022 the Russian delegation had promised Ukraine peace for refusing to join NATO, but that Russia had not given any security guarantees and the Ukrainian delegation did not trust Russia to uphold such an agreement.[74][76][77] Arakhamia also refuted Putin's claim that Ukraine had signed any agreement in Turkey because the delegation did not even have the legal right to sign anything - this could only have happened if a meeting between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Putin took place."

"According to Erdoğan Ukraine was not prepared to recognise the Russian occupation of Crimea or parts of Luhansk and Donetsk Oblasts.["

"According to a May report from Ukrainska Pravda, the Russian side was ready for a meeting between Zelenskyy and Putin, but it later came to a halt after the discovery of War crimes in the Russian invasion of Ukraine, in particular the Bucha massacre on 1 April."
