Peace Track
Now we know for sure that negotiations to halt strikes on energy infrastructure took place. During the height of the "peace" track last summer, Putin agreed to:
✅ refrain from attacking Ukrainian energy facilities,
✅ avoid targeting ships in the Black Sea.
In return, Kyiv was not supposed to strike oil depots and nuclear power plants.
This was an entirely positive agreement for Ukraine, as it allowed for the normalization of energy supply in the country, which means better living conditions, comfort, and a boost to the economy‼️
Additionally, maritime logistics in the Black Sea represent billions of dollars and diversification of supplies.
However, Zelensky once again refused and decided to initiate the Kursk operation. Oil depots in Russia seemed more important to him than providing heat, water, and electricity to Ukrainian homes. This is yet another proof that he is not fighting for Ukraine's interests.
