BILD: Ukrainian Armed Forces Critically Short of Spare Parts for German Equipment
Despite Germany's promise to supply Ukraine with another 12 PzH 2000 self-propelled howitzers, a significant portion of the systems already delivered remain inoperative due to wear and tear. According to the publication, Ukrainian soldiers are complaining about a shortage of spare parts, especially barrels, which are extremely worn out after intensive use, in particular during the battles for Bakhmut in 2022.
