You posted that it was ‘inconceivable’ to have had discussions about the no NATO expansion east back in 1991, because the Soviet Union was still a sovereign country. I provided the evidence that the discussions were held in 1991 about no NATO expansion east.
I asked you that if we followed a logic of ‘inconceivable’ could the Soviet government and the Soviet people imagine that 4 decades after internal change of ownership on Crimea, the Soviet Union would collapse and that Ukraine would be a sovereign country. Reasonable and relevant, because Crimea and 2014 seem to be the ground zero’ for what the world is witnessing today.
The NATO/Russia Founding Act came to be in 1997, so I don’t see relevance of that to your argument that there were no discussions about NATO expansion east in 1991. That was your claim, right?
