You do know that was 60 years ago. Gosh you hold a grudge a long time. I am just using logic.
Technology has shifted, both sides have nukes very close to each other cities. Multiple evading warheads, etc. The size of weaponry is unimaginably devastating. No one was going to park nuclear weapons in Ukraine in the next 50 years, before or after this war. Both sides are much better at destroying humans on earth....
The west/NATO has no intention of launching an attack on Russia with nuclear weapons, unless Russia goes mad. Not a scenario I cant eliminate with Putin at the helm, worse Medvedev.
I have no idea what point you are trying to make, you seem locked in some historic pseudo fear or ideology...
Putin's only friends in this conflict are Iran and North Korea... Doesnt that tell you something?
