    You are again substituting morality (the power of the weak)
    with Geopolitical power primarily exercised by the major
    global Nuke Powers....eg: those who have veto power in the UN.

    But that's OK, because it keeps the plebs at bay
    and avoids revolutions.

    But Great Powers dont have morality....just self interest & raw power.

    And by the way to argue that this war is justified implies that
    you believe that "The end justifies the Means" which is
    Utilitarianism which is in no way moral ..... in fact its the opposite.

    EG: Warmongers in the past have used Utilitarianism
    (ie the end justifies the means) for selfish reasons .

    This is why I oppose war as a civilised means of resolving
    international dispute and , perhaps, in this case I'm being more moral
    than you, mate.

    Just look at the outcome of the Vietnam War, the Iraq War, The Afghan War,
    and War to date in Syria? Can we really expect anything better from this one?
