IMO the deployment of the much touted F16s would have been
high on the US/UK agenda last week given that they have a much
longer range than the touted long range missiles and of course
they can be armed with comparable bomb power.
IMO if the F16s are to be useful, the first mission ought tobe to knock out the
Kursh Bridge and to keep it hobbled on an ongoing basis.
I note with interest that one of the first F16s crashed/was shot down
a fes weeks ago with the relevant UAF commander sacked as a result.
The big question about the F16s deployment is: "Does the UAF have
sufficient air control over Ukrainian targeted areas both inside and outside
the Ukraine to make the F16s useful"? The current silence would seem
to indicate NO.
