Of course, that will never happen. Not as long as Putin is their leader. Even if he is deposed (possibly) his replacement would be far more ruthless, especially if he's a general. Peace negotiations with certain compromises still would be preferable. Otherwise, the war will escalate to a point where many more will die needlessly - perhaps millions if things really go crazy.
