Sure they have. But the Russian's haven't learnt a thing it seems after losing all those one on one wars against Japan 1905, Germany 1915 and Afghanistan 1998. They are good at meat waves and scorched earth but fighting I dunno. May be corruption and inherent drunkenness plays a big role.
