Some pro war pro Kremlin propagandists have been trying desperately to distract from the centuries of Kremlin meddling, oppression and attempted genocide of Ukrainian identity and culture by stories of the CIA helping Ukraine prevent the Kremlin from carrying out this genocide.
In their view, genocide is ok, trying to resist against genocide is not. But of course genocide is ok only if it is the Kremlin doing the genocide.
Centuries ago the Kremlin began their meddling in Ukraine to try to exterminate Ukrainian identity by targeting their language to try to extinguish it.
But sure, the CIA, coming to help Ukrainians resist the Kremlin genocide centuries later, is the real evil.
