Russia a long while... as soon as Russia invaded Ukraine and failed in regime change in the first 3 days, it became a quagmire. The Ukraine people are and we extremely brave in repelling Putin's madness.

Takes most leaders decades to recognise.

At least with democracy you get a change in leaders, so the next administration can blame the previous one and is able to stop the madness. Dictatorships besides being soul destroying to local population, are unrelenting in their "stoopidity", strategic errors just become worse. Aka Hitler. aka Putin, aka Mussolini, aka Gadaffi, Kim Jong-un, Bashar al-Assad, Alexander Lukashenko, Robert Mugabe, Saddam Hussein, Pol Pot, Omar al-Bashir, Fidel Castro etc.

They have little or no regard for their population, poor Russians. Life was better before the war, Russia had real opportunities and a useful future. Now seemingly becoming more like North Korea a vasal and dependent on China.

Thug Putin needs to stop murdering Ukraine people for their land.
