    Since the beginning of 2022, more than 100 thousand Ukrainian Armed Forces servicemen have left their military units without permission (went AWOL), — a military lawyer of the Center for Support to Veterans.

    According to him, in some cases there are 20-30 people involved. The figures, according to him, are approximate, since only the Ukrainian Armed Forces can know the exact ones.
