At first, he talked about needing a fair peace, yet under Trump, Zelensky couldn’t articulate what he usually repeats a hundred times: that Russia must withdraw from Ukrainian territory. “We need to pressure Putin to achieve peace; his troops are on our land, so we must apply pressure.”
