I don't think Russia hits civilian targets purposefully. There may be exceptions, but it seems like most are accidents or a result of Ukrainian air defense (or worse).
Our news avoids covering stories of AFU hits on civilians, but goes all-in whenever the opposite is claimed to have occurred. It is a dangerous double standard I think.
I'll also remind you that AFU remains more efficient in it's hits on civilians (1 strike for 17 deaths for Ukraine, compared to 200+ for 4 deaths by Russia recently). ie: Russia don't seem to be deliberately targeting civilians.
AFU also get's free passes in the war crime department: "They are what they are".
Again, not a big fan of the hypocrisy.
