Ukrainian units are effectively encircled in Ugledar, wrote a Ukrainian soldier with the call sign "Muchnoy."

According to him, the Russians are deliberately not cutting off the last road to Ugledar, near which they are positioned. Instead, they are trying to advance further north, directly toward the village of Bogoyavlenka, where the Ukrainian Armed Forces might retreat from Ugledar.

According to Ukrainian sources, Russian troops are advancing toward Bogoyavlenka from the direction of Vodyanoye.

The capture of Bogoyavlenka "will cause problems along the entire Kurakhovo front," writes "Muchnoy."

It was also reported today that the commander of the 72nd brigade, fighting in Ugledar, was dismissed.
