The sitting president was in country and he did not abandon his position. The whole government structure fell apart after the far right thugs seized government buildings and threatened violence and if Yanukovych did not resign. He did not resign nor abandon the position of the president. Back to the drawing board for you Ailo. lol!
Note the word in that article, ‘seize’. Nothing friendly, democratic or constitutional about that term.
