There was no "Could" in it.

Putin did exactly that, he turned off NS1 as a means to try to hurt the EU economy. Trying to deflect and diminish that FACT by saying "Putin could" is just typical dishonest Kremlin propaganda tactics...

What happened to the pipelines a month after Putin turned them off is frankly irrelevant and immaterial to anything.

German voters will be interested in who destroyed their low cost energy and damaged their economic future even if their politicians aren't and recent election results reflect that.
