The bottom line is that the Ukraine was better off before 2014 than since and part of that was due to Yanukovich because after he departed , the Ukraine lost Crimea immediately and the start of the Civil War in Donbas and then the Feb 2022 invasion which has led to the total loss of 18% of its land,100s of thousands killed or maimed and 7 million of ots citizens (mostly women & children) leaving the country with scant chance of them ever returning.
That said, I'm keenly aware that you deem the sacrifice made by the Ukraine on moral/ideological grounds but to a reasonable observer, that has simply been too much of a sacrifice.
If you dont believe that then compare/contrast the Ukraine to Belarus next door in 2013 and both now.
If you maintain that the Ukraine is better off now than the Ukraine, then you have scant regard for human life/humanity, IMO.
Will you agree that if there is a peace settlement in the next 12 months that the Ukraine will have to concede significant territory to Russia and.if so, then the Ukraine will be much worse off than it was in 2013.?
