-Economically dependant on NATO-EU-USA (Mostly USA)

While I agree that Belarus is pro-Russia , it has managed
to stay out of war (unlike the Ukraine & Georgia) by not
toeing the US line of NATO expansionism.

As the addage goes: "Where's there's life there's hope"

Even before 2013 and later, Belarussians were better off financially
than Ukrainians .
