I guess the rationale implicit in the Sociologist's
contention that the Ukraine will be re-populated
by Africans and Afghans is 2 fold:
(a) That the 7 million odd Ukrainians (mostly women & Children)
who have migrated to Europe and beyond wont return
. regardless of this War's outcome #
(b) That only war devastated poor countries economic
. migrants will choose the Ukraine because up to this war
. the Ukraine was the poorest in Europe and since then
. it has got poorer.

# Over the past 3 months I have spoken to dozens
of Ukrainian Refugees and all have said that regardless
of the war's outcome, they wont return...just endeavour
to take the remainder of their respective families to
the EC....mostly to Western Europe.
