"I am Ukrainian nationalist.....The main confrontation is about some ethnic groups have control many business structures, some economic some political forces....Russian and Jews and the (Polaks?)"
Sounds like that Nazi boycott of Jewish businesses from before WW2.
While some people here want to pretend that it's Russia that is fascist, the reality is, modern day Ukraine has much more in common with the Third Reich than Russia does. Starting with the fact that it's the collective West that is responsible for bringing up a generation of radical nationalists. Weaponizing radical nationalism and radical islamism against USSR (and then the Russian Federation) was something that the collective west has been engaging in for decades.
- The Russians never blamed Ukraine for any of their problems. And in fact, they even tried helping Ukraine solve it's own.
- The Russians have never had any mass-gatherings where they jumped up and down screaming "Death to Ukrainians" ("Death to the Moskovites was a popular chant for over a decade among Ukrainians)
- The Russian Federation never discriminated against Ukrainian people and treated Ukrainians as equals.
Those that compare Putin's saying to Hitler's sayings are idiots.
1. They are comparing textst that have been deliberately translated to be as much of a match as possible
2. They are comparing speeches being made by leaders of countries at war, that very often sound similar. If you can be bothered, listen to all the Bush warmongering speeches for example and see how they compare to Hitler's. Some of them will be pretty close.
