Probably both sadly. I think Russia could possibly suffer 2 million military casualties and the immediate collapse of Russia if things continue they way they have. The typical response from the non reflective Putin loyalists is to simply hit back and say how Ukraine will be worse off if that were the case or ‘be nuked’ as @lt Riley always implies. The Pro Russian bloggers can’t stand back and reflect on the reality and understand this isn’t about 2 sides fighting as if it was a boxing match and they’re defending their wagers. No, this is more about a dictator who is destroying a country so big it has 11 times zones and in doing so is takkng out another country with it all because of a psychopath with visions a imperialist grandeur that simply can’t be realised. Putin’s war was doomed from the beginning which leave is reflective people simply flabbergasted’ that it took place in the first place. NATO actually felt irrelevant years back because Russia wasn’t being aggressive. That has all changed as Putin started waging war years ago against the west with hybrid wars and literal wars (Chechnya / Ukraine). Like a little dog snapping the heels of a placid bull, invading Ukraine was the last straw and the bull is now stomping the pesky little dog into submission
