all similar thinking to watso..

I have lived my life thinking the "Americans" ..... were a great nation and a bastion of justice and liberty . I cursed and had a hatred of communism , loathed the Soviet Union .
I believed in our Australia and only had inspiration and hope for all of us .
That loyalty / passion has been stripped away over the last two of decades .

the iraq war was watso's turning point - and by then watso better understood the meaning of america abandoning the bretton wood agreement (ie the convertibility of american dollars into gold) - and initially saudi oil replaced gold...

america had two reasons to control the world oil supply .. just being in a position to control oil makes the controller the king maker - and of course america print the dollars that other countries need to buy oil (particularly middle eastern oil)..
