    Seems harsh but fair.

    So the military prosecutor's office of the Russian Federation explained to Dmitry Shkrebets, the father of one of the conscripts who served on the cruiser, the “loss” of his son.
    He was declared "missing from the military unit" as a result of "an emergency that resulted in the loss of the ship."


    They've obviously conducted a thorough investigation and determined that Mr Shkrebets' son was responsible for the errant cigarette butt which sank Russia's pride of the Black Sea fleet....
    ....Then deserted his post.....
    ..........Current whereabouts unknown.
