1. They are doing exactly the same as they have done bombing Grozny and Aleppo to Maurpiol and now Kharkiv (both Russian speaking cities)
2. The other wars you mentioned were more or less localised. This war has every chance of spilling over as there are so many nationalities fighting for both sides. What happens if Belarus invades? What happens if Romania comes to the defence of Moldova if there is a situation in Transnistria? What happens if a Russian Rocket overshoots the Ukraine border into Poland?
3. It puts Nuclear capable nations on opposing sides.
Apart from all the heinous activities on both sides, which are already mentioned, it's a false narrative that euro lives mean more - the truth is the consequences of this war are far greater than all those other wars put together, thus the more intense scrutiny.
