marakai, I remember how I was laughed at, mocked back in 2014, right here on Hotcopper when the Maidan first came to light and then the torching of the Trades Union Building in Odessa. It was a deliberate planned attack straight after the soccer match, where many of them came headed straight towards the Trades Union House. Back then, all videos and images were being screened live as it was happening, similar to 2001 WTC. The faces and images were not blanked out, or photoshopped. Meanwhile Donbass and Lugansk war had been raging ever since against the Ukraine Army. Meanwhile Kiev went about it's business applying laws that targeted Russians.
Everyone seems to forget the ethnic cleansing of the Russian people living in the regions of Donbass & Lugansk which were also the majority. It was brutal and systematic. Certainly the Azov Battalion played a significant role at the time.
Since then the Right Sector has grown to be a major movement infiltrating the ZSU Armed Forces, as well applying its training skills across NATO countries.
So, where are we now?
A book I recently read. Jeff Booth: The Price of Tomorrow discusses the various cycles that major empires go through, including disruptive technology. What he believes we are witnessing is a changing of the guard, the collapse of the hegemony - FIAT System as we know it.
To most, this may not seem to have any relevance to the Russian/Ukraine war.
However, I completely disagree.
This is a Global war between the US and Russia.
NATO is the proxy.
The US needs this war with NATO as the proxy to keep its hegemony going.
They can barely service their debt without it.
Don't worry, China will be next.
Truth is the USA wants to prolong this war as much as possible to extract the most value.
Most nations are enslaved to the USD and find themselves caught between a rock and a hard place.
The EU is the most vulnerable with Germany to bare the brunt if there is a collapse.
You then throw in Distribution failures, especially in the port of Shanghai, there is know easy fix.
Add to that, the Energy crisis, potential of Famine, Inflation, Stagflation, Dislocation of Refugees across Europe.
No country is immune, including Australia.
The ripple down affect will be catastrophic close to the epicenter.
Bottom line, we will face more draconian laws with less freedom, tighter regularity controls.
Our Governments are working towards this Globalist system whereby our assets will easily be seized and transferred.
We have already witnessed this with the seizing of Russian Assets, using the SWIFT System.
The EU is now working on plans of having assets seized if you are an ethnic Russian across any jurisdiction.
If that should be applied to every Russian across the Globe, that is a very worrying sign.
