But they aren't joining NATO, never have been.

They are joining the EU.

I agree that there have been many egregious cases of US aggression. And countless lives lost in unnecessary wars. The US installed Saddam Hussein to counter Iran, and when that didn't work out as planned found a reason to invade.

But two wrongs don't make a right. Each situation needs to be viewed on its merits.

Putin has massively miscalculated and now is trying to thermo bomb his way out of it.
