The territory which I have marked constitutes about another 10%
of the Ukraine but IMO that territory is of interest to Russia for 3 reasons:

(a) to have a western demilitarised sone between the Ukraine & Russia.
(b) to cripple Ukrainian trade by blocking its access to the Balck Sa.
(c) to connect Russia to the Crimea by land (only a bridge connection existed
before the war.

That said, perhaps the Ukraine should blow up the newly built Russian
connecting mainland Russia to the Crimea !

All IMO only.

If you object to what I think will happen, then could you please
post what you think the outcome will be and when?
Its fine being negatve (a Nilsky) but it requires at least some
brains (not wishful thinking) to imagine an outcome....eh?
I have been up front in offering my opinion with some rationale
so let's hear what your is eh...and over time we can than
monitor progress vis a vis our respective forecasts.
