The former PM of Russia Mikhail Kasyanov says that the victory day speech of Putin's show he is weakening. The inability to claim any sort of victory in Ukraine is embarrassing, as is the tired way he is conducting himself.

Kasyanov says 50% of the population are awake to the lies and disinformation of Putin's propaganda machine and are waiting for more signs of weakness before coming out into the open. This is due to the massive repression that happened after the uprisings last year.


Ukraine cannot lose Odessa, it cannot be landlocked. The ports are crucial to export wheat to the world. Mass starvation is likely due to the halving of the crops this year, bigger crops must be sown than predicted. There is already starvation in Yemen and other areas. The poor will get hit hardest.

This is not just a war between Russia and Ukraine. It has massive world impacts and Putin is holding the world hostage.
