    All this "knowledgeable" rhetoric about Putin's future and Russia reminds me of a discussion about the tip of the iceberg presuming that gives us a read on what's below the surface.

    Dictators ad nauseum have remained in power as they are brutal and have the military in lockstep and its hard to see Putin moving on voluntarily and hardly by public opinion.If he loses the military that's the difference but who then takes his place?

    Good luck if you think a less hawkish person with less ambition and less brutality is going to take his place.

    Hard to see anyone who ISNT like that rising to the top of a structure such as what rules Russia.
