    "I knew it was all over for him when he dropped the "N" word."

    Note that Putin didn't use the "N" word. He used the term "Russian army deterrence forces". The media gleefully added the "N" word.

    It could be argued that Russia's new hypersonic cruise missiles would be a deterrent (they are the fastest at over mach20, although western analysts think they might be a bit slower). And as far as we know their electronic warfare systems haven't been used yet. There's probably more.
