Yes too costly to push the issue, they are digging in to offer only defence via long range shelling of military targets, while thier other forces work to create a cauldron over the next few weeks as seen in the Donbass a few time and elsewhere multiple times....this is the continued Russian tactics seen from the Syrian war even. Helps to sustain both Russian and civilian life but make no mistake when the Russian's patience is worn out then it will be another avostal like region if that is what the azovs/Ukrainian government/west want again for twitter and MSM fodder.

It's simply a slaughter out there..it's pretty lucky we are good with all of it.
