I agree and at first I thought he was planted deliberately by the forces in the FSB and Army to release the floodgates of criticism. In which case it would be symbolic, a nod that the rebellion is starting. This may still be the case as even though he has recanted, the cat is still out of the bag. What he said was undeniably true.
