    Yes, its now 59 roubles to 1 USD. It was circa 150 when the US and EU imposed "supposedly" crippling sanctions.

    It was supposed to cripple Russia's economy by destroying the rouble.

    Instead, it is destroying economies around the world, while Russia's economy is improving, with massive trade surpluses.

    On top of that, Russian gas is now traded in roubles.

    These stooopid people at both the EU and US never understood economics and reality of essential needs in life - that is food and energy are essential to life, so when you try to sanction them, you cause its price to rise massively.

    That is exactly what has happened.

    Now, we have runaway inflation everywhere and many countries are suffering from both fuel and food shortages.

    Take for example Sri Lanka: they have run out of money to buy fuel and essential needs. This country is in a free-fall.

    And its going to get much worst as other countries fail.

    They tried to destroy Russia's economy, but ended up destroying economies around the world!!!
