Its pretty much over already. Russians will only have to defend (if they get attacked) the edge of the territory that they are
in control of now, which wont require too much man-power or money.
Anyway, I dont fall for the propaganda that sanctions are hurting Russia (perhaps just a little, and just as much towards the EU).
Russia has a lot of essential resources in its vast country to allow sanctions to make much difference.
