either withdrawing would end it , you could say the same about Russia - the actual invader - not their country - no valid right to be there !
no , the US weapons keep Ukraine from losing ground not from ending the war , the Ukranians keep fighting even if the type of war they fight might be different - I'm talking about resorting to guerrilla warfare if conventional fails
Remember how Russia got tied up in Afghanistan 'til they lost patience and got out ?
Never doubt cossack determination ...I'd back them to ware Russia out over time if they need to go that way .
