They have just increased the pension by 10%. They have also brought down the mortgage rate down to 11%. The Mortgage rate was 10% before the Ukraine - Russia skirmish. It then shot up to 20% once the confiscation of Russian assets and imposed sanctions.
Not perfect. However, They have plenty of food, plenty of Gas, plenty of Oil, plenty of Grain.
Most importantly, plenty of Rubles. They are doing just fine, all things considered.
