Russia's army is currently made up of 80% of conscripts. Which is why they would find a war against a professional well equipped army difficult to win.
Russian economy will be stuffed in 6 months and the government will be financially ruined.
Everything is internationally interconnected these days.
In the old days countries economies were mostly self contained and independent.
