He’s like any gangster. He doesn’t want anyone impinging on ‘his’ turf, and he wants to grab the possessions of others if he can get away with it.

His callous disregard for human lives has been evident ever since the staged FSB apartment bombings, so he’d certainly have no qualms about bringing about the deaths of tens of thousands of ethnic Russians in the Donbas if it meant he’d achieve his aims.

Russia is a mafia state. The FSB operates to eliminate all opposition to Putin. People like Lavrov, Medvedev, Peskov are so corrupted that there souls have been corroded right out of their bodies. They are walking ghouls, spouting endless lies in service of their master.
