Bunk! If Poland extended its borders it would be in breach of its EU agreement to have fixed borders. Poland has just recently agreed to follow its EU commitment to abide by EU law. So they won't be taking on the EU. Especially as Ukraine has support to become an EU candidate state. Poland does not want to be burnt by EU sanctions again.
