Putin can ignore ‘the West’s morality lesson’ and he can probably ignore any number of other things.
The anger and frustration among the pro-Putin team is that the West has supplied plenty of weapons to Ukraine and that Ukraine has fought hard and will continue to do so.
Going forward, the West will continue to strongly support Ukraine and a quick victory is no longer within Putins grasp. An overwhelming majority of Ukrainian people wish to fight on and are against territorial concessions.
Pro-Putin posters can show up here every day pouring scorn and derision on Zelenskyy, calling Ukrainians ‘Nazis’, telling lies about the Donbas conflict, making out Putin is a wonderful guy….it won’t change anything.
The bottom line is this:
1/ Support from the West will keep flowing to Ukraine.
2/ Ukraine will keep fighting.
Ukraine does not have to make peace on Russias terms. They are not in the wrong here. It is their land, and no other country in the world would agree to give away part of their land while they are standing strong and fighting hard. They have every hope and belief that they can take back their territory and the opinion of some poster on a website in Australia won’t change that hope and belief.
