I said this months ago. The sanctions will not hurt Russia as much as they are hurting Europe.
It might have had an effect if Russia was a small country like North Korea.
Im just using logic here.... Russia is a huge country in size, and has lots of resources, trees, minerals, oil and gas, wheat, and meat
It produces fertiliser, and its technology and manufacturing is as good as anything in the US.
So how are sanctions going to hurt, especially when they have the two basic things for survival : lots of food, and oil and gas?
Oh you say, the debt repayments... well this is just paper really, what is money these days expect paper printed (like the US is doing)
The Russian ruble is the strongest it's been in 3 years... they can now just print more of it, without problems and their inflation is falling
fast (unlike in the West)
