just as a basis of comparisin with Ukraine ,in Korea over about 3 years there were in excess of half a million military deaths , mostly battlefield deaths. Thats N and S Koreans , yanks and Chinese (etc). At peak there were nearly 1.5 mill Chinese soldiers operating . Big war and very fierce engagements at times .
N Korea attacked , had early successes but in the end while they gained the city of Kaesong lost nearly 4,000 sq Km of territory in the conflict .
