The problem for us is that war with the Ruskies will not be pretty - Putin knew what was coming and used his then limited resources to develop offensive weapons (eg hypersonic) and strategic defensive weapons (eg fifth gen S-500 system). So it will just be a war of words from us.
Don't think Putin has given eastern Ukraine away - just hope we don't push their buttons. Suspect Ukraine will be a "divided country" in that regard forever with the Rusky population forever dominant?
