Finally, the protestors against the deal were supported by the US and EU. The Ukrainian government was supported by Russia.
It takes 2 to tango. In 2015 Ukraine defaulted on $3b debt payment as part of the rescue plan. Maybe Putin if s just making sure that Russia gets it’s money back.
