France retains its nuclear arms as a deterrent within Nato from NATO forces of which is has rejected and rejoined nato over time .

Does that also sound odd that they too don't trust what can happen when a war breaks out .

Europe has been at war within nations for centuries regardless of alliances they always continue to change .

Not hard to see you need a buffer between nations for peace if you have to have an enemy all the time .

Strange that intermediaries would use would use such a measure between forces all over the world put buffer zones in between forces to create peaceful dialogues etc to perhaps take place ?

Nato has caused much destruction and death when enacted but wont abide by The United nations as it sees the united nations as a threat to its existence as an alliance militarily .
