Unfortunately for you, it turns out that the buffer countries actually have a say in the matter as sovereign states and don't necessarily want to be satellites of Russia. Because actually the problem is really not NATO but the fact that these states prefer to have functioning independent democratic political systems rather than puppet governments controlled by Putin and his gangsters. That is the real issue. I mean really, he doesn't care if everyone knows he assasinates dissidents and critics with radiation poisoning or nerve agents in foreign countries. His personal wealth comes from where? He pays how much in taxes?
