The rope-a-dope strategy is working well. The Russians grind on, losing men and equipment as they go, and at some stage will hit the ‘end of the gallop’. I suspect the Russians generals have no option but to continue with this foolhardy meat grinder, as they are being driven hard by Putin.
The stout defence of Severodonetsk has bought time for Western heavy weapons to arrive in the battle space, including HIMARS, and these are now hitting Russian bases, supply centres, ammo dumps, and command centres.
Russia is becoming dangerously vulnerable in the South, due to troop and equipment shortages, hence the impending Russian forced conscription in Crimea.
It is the loss of elite trained troops that Russia is going to start to struggle with. These are irreplaceable.

I dont know who tells u Russins r taking huge loses at Severodonetsk / Lysychansk.
Their tactic is very simple, bomb the place, take out all defences and mop it up.
I highly doubt they even lose up to a 1,000 in the past 30 days. Theres no close range fighting whatosver, if they r seeing ukkes face to face, that means that region be flying Russian flag already.
