but what's the war about anyway? Any genuine answer to that won't be available in western MSM including our ABC, which can honestly be described as little more than propaganda outlets.

And then we have Australia's new PM stepping seemingly obliviously into the fray last weekend.
Michelle Grattan, writing in The Conversation on Monday put it this way.
"Australia has given Ukraine another $A100 million in military aid, and Anthony Albanese has pledged Australia will continue support for the embattled country “for as long as it takes for Ukraine to emerge victorious”.
Australia's latest military aid package to Ukraine brings to about A$388 million in total military assistance, making Australia the largest non-NATO contributor to Ukraine's defence, Grattan said.
Australia's involvement in another European war deepens.
